Clever, intelligent humor throughout the book. I loved the writing style; it kept my interest throughout. I don't often read fiction and am pleasantly brought back to the genre by books such as this. Also, the cover of the book is fabulous and certainly hooked me with that since I AM a gal who judges a book by its cover!

I need to start this again at another time. It took too long to get into it. It looks fascinating, but I got bogged down in the cumbersome beginning. Maybe at another time...
Drawn: The Art of Ascent by Jeremy Collins

I highly recommend this book! I read it with an open mouth while shaking my head in disbelief that someone could possess that much mental courage and physical stamina. Jeremy's art is rivaled by his adventurous spirit which is rivaled by his encouraging and mesmerizing words. It's a triple threat win. At times a true cliff-hanger, this is a beautiful book to display as well as a meaningful book on friendship and chasing dreams to soulfully carry with you and absorb.
The Friendship Fix: The Complete Guide to Choosing, Losing, and Keeping Up with Your Friends by Andrea Bonior

I was really looking forward to reading this book. There were some important reminders tucked here and there but the parenthetical way in which she wrote the book was too distracting. Parenthetical jokes are funny occasionally but I found that the plethora of asides broke up my train of thought too often. It ended up that I skimmed this book more than I thoroughly read it.

I hope this doesn't distract from a potential friendship with Andrea Bonoir should the future opportunity arise...
Restless: Because You Were Made for More by Jennie Allen

I was a little disappointed. It was a good book but a little too elemental (Christianity 101) for what I was looking for. Was hoping for more logistical advice and steps.

A little too much fluff and not enough logistical meat. Didn't finish reading it so might have missed some good points.

Classic Nora Ephron. Funny. Poignant. I found myself shaking my head often - it's hard work growing old as a woman!
