I went through this at my speed, knowing that each chapter would have something that I needed to read. There were many times that I thought I would never finish the book because, like therapy, it's hard to say goodbye, especially when I knew I had more to learn. I first heard about this book from a podcast and was interested in what Lori had to say about her experience with talking to her therapist. Her stories and her patients' stories were filled with advice and lessons that I highlighted and will return to when I find myself in similar quandaries.
