a quick, quirky, & enjoyable read. a light sprinkle of spooky in a story with a good message.

between the stories that didn’t include ghosts or eroticism at all, the gay confederate romance im supposed to give a shit about, or the weird incest toe sucking - the mere TWO stories in the book that are decent were definitely NOT worth the read. i picked this up at the thrift out of sheer curiosity & was disappointed 98% of the time.

am intimate & lovely portrayal of the poet as an aunt, a troublemaker, & an all around young heart.
