3.5 ⭐️ This took me So Long to finish!! The characters were well thought out, the writing was beautiful, I just am not a fan of the ‘academia’ waxing poetically about philosophy and false fallacies. Very Umbrella Academy… but I liked ☂️ better

I could not stop listening to this audiobook. I was captured, engrossed, obsessed. I was not part of the iCarly generation but even with the little I knew about her I didn’t feel like I was missing any details. McCurdy’s writing flies, I didn’t for a moment feel bored or that there were any unnecessary scenes. This book was sad, funny, heart wrenching, and real. I commend the author for how real and open she is about her trauma but I guess as a child star she has been forced into that her whole life.

Cannot possibly put down into words how this book made me feel but I can give you the vibes! Eternal sunshine for the spotless mind meets Romeo and Juliet with trippy dreamscapes and amazing lyricism!
So inspiring and beautiful!
