I loved how you learn the back story of Lark and all her secrets throughout this book. I feel like there could have been more backstory on Lachlan. Overall, the story is very good and keeps you engaged because you don't know what happens next.

This was a good choice to read in October. It has romance, occults, and is mysterious. I love Ali Hazelwood books and I did enjoy this read too. However, I didn't rate it higher because of the whole Knotting thing. It just really made me uncomfortable and killed the vibe for me. The back story and the rest of the plot was funny and sweet.

This book captivated me in the first 30 pages. It has twist and turns that leave you wanting more. The characters are loveable and you want to be friends with them too. I loved the story of war and the missions each character was on not knowing they are all on the same one. And DONT EVEN get me started on the ending.

As a fan of the Gilmore girls when I saw this released I knew I had to read it. And when I saw that Kelly Bishop was the narrator I knew this was going to be good. Kelly is a wonderful storyteller and she writes beautifully about her experiences. I really enjoyed this book it made me laugh, cry and really assess how I look at specific areas about my own life. She 100% knows how to uplift and captivate her audience on and off the screen.

With difficult scenes and different povs to follow this story keeps you wanting more. I really enjoyed this read and I normally do not read this genre. However, I was not expecting the twist and turns that happened at the ending of this book. I think the different povs helped make this book so good because you are slowly piecing what has happened to all these different characters over the expansive time period.

I thought re-reading this book would make it better because I am older but I was wrong.

The perfect fall romance! It was very cute with a little spice. The relationship was cute and loving. Overall I enjoyed this book. Felt it was a little rushed but still was enjoyable.

This book was cute and made me laugh. It gives off, “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” vibes. I loved the ups and downs of this romance. It showed the difficulties of not communicating and distance. Overall it was a sweet story and my final comment with tears in my eyes when I finished was, “ I love, love.”

An emotional rollercoaster with these characters and their story. I liked how this story shows the growth and also the fall backs of addiction. I think Lauren Asher portrayed this story line very well. I feel like this books should’ve expanded on her and her sister’s relationship more. Although I enjoyed this story I do feel it didn’t need to be almost 600 pages long. This story could’ve been wrapped up around 350-400 pages.

Demons, Wardens, Angels, and more. They walk this earth and coexist on a higher level. This book is such a good story overall. With a plot twist at the end I was not expecting. I loved how this story highlights a disability for the main character. This story is action packed with some romance sprinkled in. I am so excited to read book 2 and can't wait to see where these characters go.
