I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai
3.0
Wanted to love it, but like other reviews I felt the co-author got in the way. I will admit that in this case, it is probably unavoidable simply because there is the history and timeline that led to Malala's attempted assassination, the attempt, and the brief aftermath. Of course, there is the work of her and her father, which is tremendous, but has a tendency to get lost. I would very much like to read a memoir by her father as well (he gave an excellent TED talk) and hope that it will become a reality someday. Recommended, but I had overly high expectations.
