A cute book but very surface level with every topic.

First of all, if you are thinking of reading the book, I BEG YOU, also listen to the audiobook!!!! It made the style of writing so much more immersive, you really felt like you were listening to them doing an interview, couldn’t recommend it enough!
This was a 5 star book for me until the last chapter, I was so in love with everything going on and that’s what I hope I’ll remember the book by.
I think Julia writing the book was just a bit unnecessary since we didn’t get to know her better than her liking of pineapple, if was forced imo, so it lost 0.25 for that.
Now the How I Met Your Mother inspired: now that I got sick and died you can go after Daisy bs really struck a nerve. Taylor is one of my favorite writers but didn’t she see how much people hated himym’s finale???? I have no idea why she did that. The book would’ve felt so much more real without this ending. Lost another 0.25 for that.

All in all I still loved the book and kept wishing they were a real band because I want to listen to them so bad! Guess I’ll just pretend they were Fleetwood Mack

I feel like the author wanted to compile every sad thing that could happen to a person so you would get emotional. The book was way too long, it could’ve been half the size and still convey all the same messages
