The Pisces by Melissa Broder

How to describe this book??? A mythical love story during an existential crisis? A woman acknowledging her impending breakdown while leaning into it? The introspective analysis of several bad decisions made by our main character and those around her?? Idk. A blurb on the back says this romanticizes the void and I agree with that

4.5! Loved Dani’s story and Zafir was *swoon* wonderful. I also love a campus setting for a romance and so enjoyed Zaf’s work with his nonprofit and his family relationships! Also I am Dani with her excessive plant hobby
