Angela Davis herself is always a 5/5, and there’s a reason this is often considered essential reading. The collection’s content is wonderful individually but a bit repetitive. I would not necessarily recommend the audiobook, although it is read by David herself, on the grounds that some of the interviews are question/answer and the audio version doesn’t render that format too clearly.

Lacks any real depth or journalistic rigor. Just kind of seems like the author gushing about how neat she thinks influencers are. Honestly reads like an overlong Buzzfeed article.

Predictable, but it’s a quick read so that doesn’t become to grating. Definitely not Ruth Ware’s best, though.

It’s a good anthology, and some of the pieces are real bangers, but it doesn’t always feel like a HORROR anthology.
