I was not connecting with the story or the characters. Jude felt bery much like every I'm not like other girls MCs in these fantasy romances. The person who was set to be the love interest I couldn't see any reason Jude would suddenly change her thoguhts or feelings on. Would rather not waste my time on a 3 book series if I'm not connecting over 25% through the first book.
