similarly to the first book, we're given the deep thoughts of the author. i was really glad theyre getting better and less dependant on their parents opinion/expectations. it gives me hope for an unsure future, knowing life isnt doomed is always reassuring.

i actually liked this :) i havent read manga in a while so this was good. i really loved the way the author described her own experiences, thoughts and the silliness of the drawings.

its wonderful how one book with such a simple theme, a common mans life, ends up immersing the reader in the complicated days of a university professor.
ive read this both in my mother tongue and in english and i just cant get tired of it. the emotion always seems to lock me in.

after years of watching girls like girls on youtube, ive finally found this book and i was radiant. as i read it, it disappointed me: the whole miscommunication trope was bad, the characters couldve had more development and the ending was rushed.
started as a book i thought i would keep with me forever, similar to the music video, but it really fell short.

this book means the world to me. leslie feinberg writes in a way that makes you feel the emotions the characters are going through, from pure happiness to grief. a book that had and still has a huge impact on the queer community and our movement. a book that shaped the way i see my own identity. a book that makes us hope and fight for a future we know it's not granted.
truly a book like no other and i recommend it to anyone who's interested in queer (mostly sapphic and lesbian) history.
