Did not finish book.
Tried listening to the audiobook three times, and it invariably put me to sleep.

Realized I just... don't care about the story anymore, so I'm dropping the series. Maybe someday I'll pick it back up.

I don’t want to drop the series just yet, as I’ve been enjoying it so much and the summaries of the later books really piqued my interest, but the incredibly cheap attacks on religion (Christianity in general but Catholicism in particular) are just unbearable.

There’s no real substance to the criticism! It’s just a never ending stream of ignorant, self-righteous, snide commentary.

Also, that’s just not how you do queer rep. I’ve been making allowances for  Archer as I didn’t expect her to be able to manage any sort of minority representation, but this is just… embarrassing at best.

No matter how many times I reread this, I’m still bored to death through half of it and then!! My heart breaks and I must read the rest of the story.

NGL, I love it xD
