I have to say, as a bloodborne fan craving for more bloodborne, it crazy that I’ve been sleeping on the Bloodborne comic. Which is to say that the art is astonishing, beautiful sketch at the end of each volume, the story is good could be better, but you can still get pulled in the story. Hopefully, titancomics makes more bloodborne box set

Honestly, this  was a great read, a page turner, that when I finished the book, I was kinda of sad... but oh yah, there's fire and blood. The book I bave heard that is a dry textbook, etc.. I went and bought it, and i love it so far. For me, THE RISE OF THE DRAGON is 5/5⭐️

So I finished the first novella in Vampire Hunter D omnibus one. The book contains the three first novella of the Vampire Hunter D series. And it was a fairly good read. The story itself is very generic, where we have a hero, a denzel in distress and a hero, save denzel in distress from some foes and the main villain. But seeing that this story was released in 1984, it’s understandable.
So we fallow D a Vampire hunter, who is a Dhampire, which I believe means demi Vampire. It’s interesting, as a dhampire, that D is fear by the human because of his vampire side while looked down by the nobility (which is the vampire society) because of his human side. There’s this line I really like in the story which a character (Rei-Ginsei) sais to D “Out of some duty you feel for no more than a human girl, you would cut me down—me, a human who told you of my contempt for the Noble, and that I would take his life. Accused one, thy name is dhampir … You share the Noble’s world by night and the mortal’s by day, but are accepted by either. You shall spend all the days of your life a resident of the land of twilight.” It’s sad because in the story we see that  the girl Doris (denzel in distress) like D and would like him to stay with her and her younger brother after the ordeal is take care of. But it’s clearly not possible. D Is destined to travel place to place for the rest of his life alone.
For me, the setting of the world and the lore behind it was what  kept me ready. I mean It is 12,090 A.D., thousands of years since the human race nearly destroyed itself in a nuclear war in 1999. I’m intrigued to read more about the world and D backstory and see where the series goes.
