Creepy, disturbing, yet it broke my reading slump.

The story is great and Marin is very relatable. No mother will ever stay sane with what happened to her. It's just the plot that has been the letdown. It's pretty predictable (I already predicted who abducted Bash in the early chapters, I just kept going to know the reason and how it was executed) and the thrill was just not there. But overall, it is a good and fast read. If you want to keep up with your reading goal, you can include this book as it is very fast-paced.

It's super slow and boring.
I'm not fan of the writing style.

I don't wanna be a bitch over a book. It has some parts that I enjoy too, but I just can't force myself to like it.

The struggle is there and I know I'll be wasting my time if I forced myself to finish it.

(I might give one more try for the sake of the 2nd book coz I heard good things about it. Maybe, one day, my curiosity will help me get through it.

Great action! I love how the prophecy unfolds! One thing I really hate though, these hard-headed team of demigods kept there own secrets to themselves only to reveal them too late! They are supposed to be a team, WTH! SMH-ing and face palming all the time

Great story! I love that it is multi POV, I just wish it was written in first person POV like in PJO tho. Can't wait to dive in to the whole series.
