WTF did I just read?! I have ruined whatever finger nails I had while reading this. With the amount of stress I have just endured, I deserve some kind of compensation.

Seriously though. This book is amazing. It's harrowing and heartbreaking. I don't even know what else to write. Just read it.

What a fantastic book. Backman is phenomenal at character development, and never in all my life had any book or person make me care so much about a sport in my life, let alone about hockey.

So many themes too. Growing up, growing apart. Finding family and home. Finding strength through and after trauma. Seeing the strength and destruction of community. Love love love.
