The Honey Witch was a really good book that made me so invested in the characters by the end. I loved watching the characters grow together and seeing how the story unfolded was fascinating. This was definitely a slow burn romance. We didn't get a kiss until over halfway through and the longing was exactly what you expect with a slow-burn. It was cute with very little spice in it.

The book itself was well written and the narrator did a fantastic job with the various voices. I really enjoyed the narration and it made the story come to life. I could easily see this book being made into a movie. My only issue with the book was how slow it was at times. I definitely recommend this one.

It is really hard to take a book seriously when they put “ally” in the acronym. Allys are awesome and wonderful but, they aren’t in the acronym.

This book had some good points about taking care of one another but it felt like it was surface level stuff that didn’t fully resonate with me.

Super cute audiobook that is sure to delight kids and adults.

I first read this book as a graphic novel so when Libro.fm offered it to me for free in exchange for a review I was hesitant to pick this up as an audiobook. I didn't know how they could translate the graphic novel into an audiobook but I figured I would try it out.

This audiobook is phenomenal. The book itself was great but I like that the audiobook adaption was just as good. The audiobook adds a bit more to the story and I loved the sound effects and the full cast that was done. The story itself is inspiring. I'm not non-binary but I really related to the author's portrayal of figuring eir/emself out. I struggled so hard in figuring out my sexuality that it was a relief to see that I wasn't the only one wondering all of these things. Maia has a way of showing just how much e went through and having compassion for those struggling with the change of pronouns and gender expression.

It doesn't matter the format (graphic novel or audiobook) you read this but if you're looking for a good book to help you understand a bit of the non-binary experience I recommend checking this book out. It is beautifully done.

First Contact by Kim Harrison is one of those books that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I found the characters lovable and I really loved watching them interacting with each other. I can't wait to read the second in the series.  The narrator was fantastic though I will say her voice was so relaxing that I struggled to pay attention at times.

For a book that has so many monster features on the cover, this is the most basic of monster books. It feels like the pick me of monster books and is incredibly judgmental for any monster that is not almost human. There are multiple errors throughout the book, and it feels incredibly juvenile. I can’t take one more page.

I need to switch to the ebook because the narration is not good.
