Smoke and Scar is exactly what I didn’t know I needed for a Fantasy read this year!

I absolutely adore Elyria (FMC). From her wit and banter to her strong sense of self, even at her lowest, she was def a character I was rooting for and was punching my fist in the air during fights. As for the rest of the troupe of champions; they added a great balance to her and the progression of the story. I may have a soft spot for a couple of them as well.

This is a 10/10 for anyone looking for fantasy, slow burn, with a flair of a competition to keep everything interesting. You get a variety of “Arcanians”(magic wielded), humans, trials, magic system, and world building.
Can’t wait to get my hands on this book trophy!

This was a perfect wrap up to this cozy Christmas series!! I’m so happy we finally got to hear from Issac and see what kind of sad boy he truly is. This one is probably my favorite story of the 3 band members.
Christmas Notch once again made us fall in love, this time though not on the set of a somewhat naughty movie. Seeing the growth of how grief affects a person emotionally and physically was a journey. When all you want to do is hold onto your anger and then someone comes in and ruins that plan it can make it hard to continue to see why you were this angry to begin with.
Growth, Christmas, love, and spice! The capri sun addiction was a cute touch too.

I thought this was a great follow up to Merry Meet Cute. The characters are great. I only had one issue with a trope but that comes down to just personal preference

It is every bit of dark romance you could imagine. Stalker/thief becomes a lover of a young girl who let him steal from her house one Christmas night. Fast forward a few years and they meet again. She doesn't stop him from becoming a more intimate part of her life.
