Once again adored the characters! I was thrilled we got more of Vane and Winnie! Finding out more about the past of the two dark brothers was a thrill and and unexpected twist. Disappointment in how short it was, but I know that she will gives us more with time.

I don't what it is about characters just being thrown into worlds they didn't even think existed that does it for me, but this book does another great job of giving us that experience as readers.

After I finished the book I found out its considered a bully romance. In one way I see how it fits the micro genre, on the other hand its also how the world is built. College hazing plus cultural norms makes this a book you are shaking and wanting to strangle characters.

Think of it as reading like reality tv. Tory and Darcy are having to learn on the fly about this world of the fae and all that it involves, from the use of elemental magic, to the different orders.

I cringed here and there at the drama and cheesy scenes. I am invested in finding out more about the Heirs and how Tory and Darcy are going to either accept their fates or find a way pass on their blood right.

There were a few things that just didn’t work for me in this book. Parts felt dragged on and others felt repetitive. I did enjoy the relationship of Enzo and Adi. I liked the concept of the of the plot and the references to the 9 circles of Hell.

There were just a couple tropes I don’t enjoy in this book and that is in me not the author.

Kingfisher is my favorite shadow daddy in the current fantasy reads. Broody and mysterious Saeris Fane thinks he just hates here. Being thrown into a world she thought was just literal fairy tales after an attempted execution she's not sure where her place is.

I did listen to this on audio, which is most likely the reason for the 5 star. The voice actors did such a great job embodying the personalities of the main group of characters.

This book had high stakes, had its drama, there is hate and good guys vs bad guys. Overall the way that Kingfisher worships Saeris is what sealed this romantasy for me. There is a decent cliff hanger and leaves you wondering where exactly the second book is going to take us.

Another great book in the Meant To Be series. I love the subtle and even on the nose references to Beauty and the Beast.

I’m a sucker for a he fall first trope and making Beau out to be a grump at times was also super cute to read.

This book was the perfect ending to Rune and Gideon’s story! I was kicking my feet and giggling over the growth in the relationship.

Continuing on with this amazing work and political system was such a treat! I breezed through this book and def will be keeping this author on a list of favorites.

My poor heart. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions and plot turns.
Sevy is such a well thought out character and is perfectly curated for this world she is in. The trials she has gone through even at the beginning of the book makes you instantly feel for her in all the ways possible. Seeing her grow but still be that young girl at the same time made parts of this book really hard to read emotionally.
Revik is such a hoot. When chatting with the author about him and learning that he wasnt initially supposed to be a big character made his role in Sevy's life even more special. If you fall for "Ride or Die" characters - he's your Elf.

Rivals, adventures, first loves, and loss are all jam packed in this book. And I cant wait to continue the adventure.

I was instantly absorbed into this world and its characters.
Witch hunters, a vigilantly hiding in plain sight, and a enemies to lovers story!

Rune is a feisty FMC and knows how to play the deception game. What she isn't prepared for is that Gideon (MMC) is just as good at the game. Watching this story play out between the two of them and the games they are playing to get more information was an experience. Like all great relationships my heart did hurt for both of them and I definitely want to see a happy ending in book two, because they both deserve it.

I absolutely love this series! Hades' POV is truly an experience. You see how much he goes through personally to protect Persephone and to deal with everything else the rest of the Gods put him through.
This book and its story really revealed and answered a ton of questions from the previous book. I cannot wait to finish this series and see how the couple deals with the Triad. I feel for both of them and what they have had to go through as individuals and as a couple. Hades and Persephone's story has always been a favorite of mine and this series just brings it to a whole other level.
