I like this book in theory. The concept and the writing are phenomenal. Gritty and gory. It’s what I imagine having a psychotic break feels like but in the best way. However, I think the main character was a little bit like I’m Not Like Other Girls and the constant jabs at anything feminine were a bit much. Also, these girls, the “Bunnies”, are in an MFA program, they can’t be as vapid as they’re written. The female dynamics here were definitely a bit high school.

the beginning of this book was kind of insufferable (emotional incest maybe??) but i think it stuck the landing.
