firstly, a big thank you to FMcM associates for sending me a gifted arc of this one!

this was a good book! though pretty dark at times (do check trigger warnings as it was a little gruesome at times!!) there was lots of humour and it was rarely written in a way that made it feel particularly heavy. the multiple perspectives that jump forward and backwards along the timeline made it a fast, twisty read and I enjoyed slowly getting the full picture

veryyy morally grey characters but of course I'm gonna love two messy bisexual women taking down a load of men 😌 they made a great (very badass) couple and my only wish is that we'd had a little more time with them as a duo! I do feel like you get to know them pretty well throughout the book though, especially considering that the focus is on the crime / thriller side of things.

I think this would be a great read for end of summer / early autumn especially, so if you're looking for a thriller with amazing queer rep then definitely check this one out !
