I feel like I would’ve ate this book up if I had discovered it when I was still in the target age group for YA. I tried not to compare it to the show too much, but I will say that as much as I waffled on whether I liked Taylor as a character in the screen adaptation, she is actually awful in the book lol.

Be still, my Gallagher Girl heart!! This novel gave me all the nostalgia of my favorite super secret spy school series but managed to bring a little bit more punch for the adult age group. I am seriously hoping to see this become a series

I’d been anticipating getting my hands on a copy since I first saw the book announcement. I thought it was an intimate and reflective memoir discussing his experiences in the spotlight and how it affected his journey and acceptance of his gender and sexual identity. The nonlinear timeline of his storytelling did throw me off at first, but it’s definitely worth a read!

I was very excited to read Julie’s debut in print after reading her for years online. It’s a nice summer read, and I loved the characters!
