ftr: there’s literally no way i can give this book anything less than five stars. if you enjoyed the first book, then you will absolutely adore this one. chloe’s writing style is so pretty and authentic, and i was on the edge of my seat the entire time. this book left me sitting on my couch sobbing (there were so many moments in this book that left me crying) for a good hour after i finished it. don’t get me started on romajuliette and benmars in this book (i can’t wait for everyone to read this the quotes and the scenes were just so good) every character shined (but especially benedkit, marshall, alisa, and kathleen) and i just loved this book so much.. i will be thinking about it for a long time.

if you haven’t read these violent delights, i strongly encourage you to do so! it’s a romeo and juliet retelling that is set in 1920s shanghai! literally my favorite dulogoy

rr: I WANT A BENMARS NOVELLA IN MOSCOW. this book was even better the second time around. i am crying in class as we speak
