WOAH WOAH WOAH THOSE PLOT TWISTS.

I really loved this book, I can’t believe the series was going to end at ignite me! This addition to the plot feels so needed.

I love Nazeera she is definitely going to be one of my favourite characters. Also I love how much Juliette is growing as a person!! I can’t wait to read Defy Me

EASY 5 STARS OMG.

This series is such good cringe. Like there are a ton of parts where i’m just like uhhh noo…. but also the writing is really good and the PLOT (by plot i mean aaron warner). KIDDING i love juliette too but yeah this was the best book so far.

This book went exactly the direction I wanted it to and it caused a lot of grinning.

⚠️SPOILER ⚠️
Adam is literally an incel, bestie told juliette to die because she didn’t wanna be with him?

This only gets 3 stars because the writing was good. If i was rating it on how much i liked it, it would be 2 stars because I DESPISE adam.

SPOILERS MAYBE?????:
GOD COMPLEX MUCH? bestie thinks he’s the sun and everything revolves around him?? “what would she do if I wasn’t there to help her. she needs me.” okay you’re not that spectacular. don’t forget she literally saved your life twice so?

Anyways I’ve always disliked adam since the time I found out about his literal obsession with Juliette.

I liked this book a lot better than the first! It was kind of frustrating for the first 100 pages because it felt like the same thing over and over again. But, then it got very interesting and I really enjoyed it.

That ending though!! Ah im probably just going to download ignite me because i can’t wait for it to be delivered.

Alright, 3.5⭐️

This was definitely not as good as the first, though I still enjoyed it. I think the reason it wasn’t as good was because although there was action, there wasn’t many surprises. It felt like the same energy level the entire way through the book.

I enjoyed learning more about the sirens, and of course alosa and riden

Okay I really liked this, but I had to think what review I think it deserves over how much I enjoyed it. It was definitely nothing spectacular but it was also very addicting.

I think the plot has a lot of potential, I wanna see how it develops in later books.

Partial spoiler??⚠️
Adam is so annoying LMAO, like bestie is the ross geller of shatter me, super clingy like WHAT. He’s super obsessed with Juliette, like a concerning amount. I can’t even blame her for not realizing because she’s been in isolation so long and now someone can finally touch her but like…bestie you deserve better.

I feel like this book was mostly filling in the gaps and answering all the unanswered questions in the first book.

I still loved it though. I think the first book was a way better mystery, and i always have a soft spot for the creepy private school dark academia trope so i really liked the setting.

This duology has some of my favourite tropes: family with secrets, mysterious love interests, found family and friends in unlikely places. So if you like any of these read these books!!

anyways, back to hunting november specifically, i am very thrilled with how everything unfolded. to reiterate from my first part of this, it had the absolute perfect ending, answering every question i had from the first books.

I adore the witty writing and the very interesting and diverse set of characters who formed an unlikely found family.

IF YOU LIKE YA MYSTERY READ THIS!!

This was an amazing book to read after a terrible one. The story was very unique and i’ve never read a mystery like it! There was a lot of diversity in the characters and tons of interesting allusions throughout the book.

I can’t express how cool the storyline was! It was very interesting to see this secret society trope that the author incorporated into real world historical events.

I am in love with november and ashai, and i will be reading the next book immediately!
