boys, gals, and non-binary pals.... this is the book that got me back into my reading phase. A book that tugged at my heart strings and played with my emotions like a freaking violin.

When I finished the book, I instantly regretted reading it because I wanted MORE!!
Spoiler What would Binti's family say to her being alive? How would the relationship between Mwinyi & Binti progress? WHAT'S THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN OKWRU AND BINTI? How did the family Binti found at Oomza Uni progress?

I NEED AN EPILOGUE! STAT! NOW!

Nnedi Okorafor you will go down as one of the greats.

This is my first time reading manga so I'm not sure what makes a good manga or not... but I thought this shonen manga was nice! The art style was nice and I loved the pace of the first volume!

I'm honestly just reading it because of the art style... but yeah! Loved the intro to the characters and the trio's dynamic in the manga so far! :)

Can't wait to see what this adventures brings!

This book gives you a lot of information but also perspective on Hoodoo/Conjure/Root-working. Chireau gives us examples, stories, and additional quotes,  from other sources that talk about African Folk magic, to give you a good glimpse of what we know as Hoodoo.
