I felt it was political pandering. Not at all about a haunted house. While the issues addressed in the book are important ones, it is completely different to how the back of the book describes. The writing also drones on with run-on sentences (paragraphs can go on for pages at a time) and a ton of comma splices. Would not recommend.

The beginning of this book did move a bit slowly for me, but once things started happening OH MY GOD. There were so many twists, turns, and new developments that it had me HOOKED.
