I loved the struggle that Jesse goes through over his feelings for Zane, however, I found the story to be lacking in areas. I feel as though this was more of a short story that was rushed into a novella.
There are places where I wish the author would have explored a little farther. I would have loved to see the relationship between Jessie and Zane develop a little more slowly. Maybe delve a lottle more deeply into the relationship and feels that Hank harbors for Jessie. The ending also felt rather aburpt.
All in all, it was a great little story that I would love to see expanded.
