I picked up this book on a whim and am so glad I did. It was was a delightful murder mystery that kept me entertained the whole time. An excellent palate cleanser.

Somehow this is the first time I’ve read this, and my first time reading a 100% Neil Gaiman book (previously I’d only read Good Omens). 

This was full of artful storytelling and just a beautifully crafted world. I didn’t know much about it going in, so navigating all of the twists and turns was really wonderful. 

Strongly recommend for anyone looking for a modernish light fantasy with some really great world myths mixed in.

I really enjoyed this book! The pacing was a little off at times, but overall it was a really enjoyable read.
