all of b+k13 i couldn’t wait for claire and gibsys story but tbh they just weren’t quite written as well as lizzy was a pain the entire book. still great though, broke my heart too

while this definitely didn’t need to be 800 pages it didn’t seem like it was that long. pretty good, will be back for more

i really wanted to get into my cowboy romance era after absolutely loving d&d but as soon as she said her outfit slayed i lost all hope for this book. characters were kinda annoying, i so wish i could’ve gotten into this series but i just don’t think i can

said i wanted to read a mystery so i read this, thought it was time to come off my tbr after like 2 years. took me a while to get into it but once i did i really liked it. plot was good, one of the reveals was so obvious right from the first page but the other one definitely got me. characters lacked a little bit in their creation but all good plot made up for it.
