American Ghost Stories: True Tales from All 50 States by Michael A Kozlowski

I went back and forth with this book, there were some good things in here but alot more things that I had issues with.
I love ghost stories and find that alot of the books have the same stories repeated over and over, but this book had quite a few stories I have never heard of before. I cant say that they were all creepy and paranormal but I appreciated him branching out and doing some not well known stories instead of picking all of the 'famous' ones.
The author says several times that he is a skeptic and while I think that shines through pretty obviously, his tone during some stories made it seem like he didn't really believe in any part of the story he was telling. While that didn't really set right with me, you can tell from the stories how much research went into this book.
My overall biggest issue with this book is the fact that it read like a history text. I understand that most ghosts are here because of something in the past but when its all factual information with little paranormal substance it gets boring. I found myself skipping a few stories because it was just  a US history retelling.

Absolutely loved this. Such a cute heart warming story.
Fukumaru is such a little cutie! I can't believe anyone would call him ugly.

I'm a huge sucker for Wedding venue romances, so this book was perfect. It was so adorably sweet, but still had substance to the story.
Loved how it had an enemies to lovers feel, even if they were never actually enemies, maybe more Hate-at-first-sight. RJ and Lears first meeting was absolutely horrendous (and Lear was a total jackass) but learning more about them they were so perfectly matched and the chemistry between them was so lovely.
