Very well written. Kept me on the edge of my seat even when the Jack made several terrible decisions.
I felt for her but I struggled to understand some of her actions and decisions. Starting with trusting the cops and not having a lawyer with her during questioning, to contacting her ex for help like what is this thought process.

What an interesting look into a part of Appalachia.
I had no expectations when I picked up this book and the ride that this book took me on was pretty unbelievable. I expected a look into a town that was radio silent only to find out its not near as quiet as its made out to be.

Loved the beginning of this. An adorable meet-cute with fun characters.
Unfortunately as the book went on there was just so much miscommunication it was frustrating. The same things kept happening and it lost the fun.
the accidental pregnancy at the end absolutely ruined this book for me. I ended up skimming from there til the end. It felt rushed and only made the miscommunication more clear when hazel kept it quiet and Josh found out by coincidence.

Kit was difficult to like, she was whiny and made quick judgments without thinking through things even though she was know for thinking through all her options. *insert eye roll here* Ben was easier to like but i feel like we didn't get a whole lot about him. It was all just Kit, Kit, Kit.

Really good spooky vibes.
Loved how this was all about ghost hunting and kept it the center of the story instead of a back burner plot.

Loved the way the story flowed.
Really enjoyed Evelyn, loved how she went for what she wanted and made no apologies about taking it.
The twist was shocking but fell a bit flat for me. The ending is what sent me through a lot of emotions, that I didn't see coming.
