VOTES FOR WOMEN!!!!! If I wasn’t currently down with pneumonia I think I’d be ready to run through a brick wall after reading this. It was interesting to read how some of the biggest and most vocal haters back then were also women.  I hope we (women) all come to recognize SOON that aligning with the patriarchy may offer short-term advantages or what feel likes safety, but it ultimately undermines us in the long run. If we stood together instead of reinforcing the very system that holds us back, there’s no telling what we could achieve. 🫶🏻

Damn. Beautiful writing, but extremely heavy and unsettling. Definitely going to be thinking about this one for a long time.
