Ich behaupte, dass es hier eher um Einsamkeit geht als um Leidenschaft, wie angepriesen, und das ist mir eigentlich sehr recht. Wunderschön, wenn auch kaum atemberaubend. Mein bisher liebstes Einsamkeitsbuch, und auch sonst ein ziemlich nettes, ziemlich flüssig lesbares, ziemlich fesselndes und ein bisschen liebenswertes, mit den richtigen Ausschweifungen an den richtigen Stellen.

The drawings were the reason I picked this one up at the library. Sadly, they stayed the only thing I enjoyed.
Why would anyone want to read such a crappy story of some anciently dominant males fighting each other to kiss and protect the poor, helpless, confused little girl? And all the bs views on men/women, relationships & dating in there! Omfg!
Shocked by the idea of some unsuspecting "Omg So Cute"-girls reading this after me and not realizing that's a whole huge rape fantasy.
If a girl doesn't want to be kissed, don't kiss it. No matter if you're Lancelot or some guy from her class.
(Same for girls about not kissing boys, but I doubt societies I am used to let girls get into such a position too often.)

Can't get myself to like those drawings. Not even knowing a 7 yr old did them. Still– "It's cute". Aw, what a harsh thing to write. No, I know something better: "It got me to draw a sad cat. Which I liked a lot. Even though I hate drawing." Now, that's what this book did.

Mhm, umwerfend. Die Rollen sind konsequent zu Ende gedacht und nur eine gewisse Mühsal, die nun aber ganz gut dazu passt, hält mich davon ab, diesem Buch 5 Sterne geben (wie dem Schund, den ich sonst so lese).
