[3.5/5] I read this book out of a desire to read all the Cosmere books, and sadly I came to it after Mistborn and The Stormlight Archive. This book is such a slog compared to those. It finally picks up around the 60% mark and the end is good. I think if I had read it before the other series I mentioned I would have enjoyed it more, but my expectations were set too high.
