While deeply informative, this book often takes too long to make a point and isn’t as much a casual read as it wants to be. As someone who really enjoys reading about quantum physics, I found this book challenging, though again, at parts, deeply insightful and fascinating.

I have read everything Carlo Rovelli has written, and yet every time I pick up a new book of his I’m stunned by the beauty, passion, intelligence, and simplicity of his writing. If you’re considering this book at all, read it.

A wonderful coming of age memoir by a young woman unlike any you’re ever likely to read. Her story is going to resonate with me for a very long time.
