Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson

God I love these books!
I do like the first one more than this one.
Sometimes her behavior got annoying tbh. I didn't like the whole 'I solved a case once so now I'm the best at what I do' act.
But the mystery in this book was great! I loved trying to solve the case before she did. And somehow I always get close and have some idea of how it could be. But I'm never a 100% right. So I'll try again when the third book comes out.

This book actually took me a while to finish. A couple of times I thought about not finishing it because it starts of pretty slow. Eventually I'm glad I finished it but idk I kind of expected more because of all the hype?
I liked the plottwists and character developments though

I know there are mixed feelings about this book, but I loved it.
Avery is an ordinary girl, her mom died last year so she lives with her half sister. One day she's taken out of class with the information that a billionaire - whom she never heard of- put her in his will. She thinks she's getting a small amount but ends up getting most of his fortune. Nobody knows why. She and his grandsons get involved in the last mysterious game the billionaire left behind. Figuring out why Avery got all the money instead of his family.
The mystery is great, there's a couple of plottwists that I didn't see coming. And there's lots of enemies and not knowing who to trust.

I really liked this although I think there should be a trigger warning mentioned somewhere because this book deals with a lot of triggering subjects.
But I think it does a fine job of portraying it realistically. But sometimes it's just a bit too much in this book.
