This is my first time reading the Dark Tower series. I enjoyed this but it was so slow and I found myself skimming in some sections. However it did not turn me away from the series. I am very much looking forward to reading the rest of them! Just a bit of a slow start of it for me
The Color Purple by Alice Walker

Oh. My. God. I am sitting here bawling my eyes out. This story is so good. So heart wrenching and emotional. I knew very little about this book when I started reading it. But I am so glad that I had to read it for my class. This is such a tear jerker and is so amazing all the way through.
