At the time of purchase, I was unaware of how religious the book would be. I'm personally not a religious or spiritual person, and the book is written in a way that consistently ties everything back to the Bible. It's got some strong lessons to be learned, I'm sure, but I just wish it was more neutral in the examples it referenced. I don't believe that every lesson needs to be tied back to a religious belief system.
