Interesting, but incredibly slow. The entire time I was waiting for the story to start.

Four former high school classmates converge on their small Ohio hometown. Each reflects on memories of their “glory days” and the paths their lives have taken since. Secrets revealed, lost love, disappointment, betrayals, friends lost to war, drug abuse, and murder. This is basically a 484 page Bruce Springsteen song.

I am madly in love with this novel! Lorrie Moore is a genius and her writing is so good it gives me a head rush. I Am Homeless is a beautiful exploration of love and grief. The dazzling sentences will win your head. The incredible humor will steal your heart.
