hands down the best intro book to a YA High Fantasy I've read to date.
I really wish i picked this book up sooner. so good and really enjoyed the audiobook. I'm not sure why but it gave me the beartown by fredrick backman vibes but overall this is really good and definitely recommend checking this out. TW rape and bullying is big in this one.
I read this one summer when I was a teenager and had a hard time getting through this book. I've never been a fan of Jane Austen but wanted to give it a fighting try. Maybe if I reread it as a 30 something year old I might like it but for now I absolutely hated this book.
yeah not a fan is all i can say to this one as well...Just not my style or topic of read I guess when I was a teenager.
