Okay now that I've gone through this again originally Harry Potter and the Philosophers/Sorcerers stone is my all time favorite, hands down this is one is my all time favorite out of the entire series. I love how much Harry and Hermione and Ron have grown and just love Remus and Sirius. Jim Dale is just perfection within the audio books....So good <3
This was far better and more intense then I ever thought possible to read thus far in the series. The movie doesn't come close to the justice of brilliance that lays within these pages. The battle in the ministry and neville with bellatrix was amazing. and I'm so anxious to begin Half Blood Prince now...well done rowling...very well done. I'm glad I waited to read this as an adult it hit all the feels so much better than a younger version of would have taken it.
SOOOOOOOooooooo much better than the movies. I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to read this and I'm so glad to have come to a close at the first of many runs of reading this amazing series. Hogwarts will always be a second home for me and this truly allowed me the escape I needed from life.
I was really annoyed with the emphasis heavily throughout the book with S.P.E.W. overall I loved the Quidditch World cup, the whole triwizard gambit. I drew to the conclusion that Voldemort is far scarier in the book than in the movies. I love sirius even more and Snape is quite a @$$ to Harry...overall so happy i finally got through this one. This was my first go through the entire book. Onward!
Jim Dale you amazing man you made this re-read so much better than my first time around. I was more annoyed with Gilderoy this time around than the multitude of times I've watched the movie itself x.x. J.K. Rowling is brilliant with the building of this one in the series. The dueling club was amazing. The Death day party was my favorite. Peeves is my favorite outside of the trio, I could shake the film makers for not putting peeves in at all through the entire franchise. Hands down a five star.
There is something about these books that really allows me to appreciate the magical world and escape. Dumbledore is perfection and I really enjoyed the growth in Harry's character. Onward to the final book in the series
I never really thought i would see the day i would enjoy screenplays, but i have to say i prefer it! I loved this one even more than the first. Love that the movies are holding true to these books.
