I loved this so so so much. I love that nick is multitalented and i loved the everything about this. Ive been in a major reading slump and it’s exactly what i needed to kick right back into gear ☺️

love the audiobook. just makes this book that much better.

This was far better than I expected. Much darker than i expected but definitely catchy that I didn't want to put it down.

I'm really loving Haig's writing. Needed to get out of my reading rut and this nonfiction was fantastic when it comes to the topics of anxiety and depression in mind. definitely a good listen

UPDATE 2024: This book is so good I had to reread it. This hasn't happened since the Harry potter series. I could absolutely devour this book over and over again. I love Olivia and Matthew's character arcs. Just so amazing. As i mentioned in my previous review I loved Addie La Rue and I have to see this is my now favorite book of VE Schwab. Who knows I may reread addie la rue but for now I'm super satisfied and this has officially got me out of a reading slump.

I have yet to be disappointed by a schwab book. Her writing is chefs kiss perfection. This story is incredible and i love the representation for non verbal individuals and use of sign language throughout. I was so vested in this from page one and never a single dull detail within this story. The ending was even better than i imagined it with my theories. There is a spooky crimson peak vibe to it but it still feels absolutely unique and original like nothing that has been written before. This is one like addie la rue that ill be treasuring to re read for years to come.

Well that was a wild ride! So so good. I must be having really good luck with picking good books because this one had me trying to find out what happens next. definitely enjoyed it and will be granting this a 5 stars.

I ended up DNFing this one. It went from a extreme of creeping me out and then was too intense with the explicit content for me. Just not something I could continue reading/listening to. I pretty much lost interest 50% of the way through
