I know there are several different ways to read the Throne of Glass series but I jumped in with Assassin’s Blade first and definitely don’t regret y decision. I feel like it was definitely a slow start to a series but I truly enjoyed getting to know everyone. I may have got my heart broken already in this first book.

What an absolutely beautiful collection of Celeana’s history.

“I am Celeana Sardothien, and I will not be afraid.” 🥹

I loved this book it was so cute. I enjoyed how the mfc tied in all the different tropes that you can get from the different books.
The mfc tried so hard to please everyone else she did not truly understand how to be happy herself or to set goals of her own. She was always to busy taking care of her baby sister that she didn’t truly know what she wanted in life until it fell in front of her face!

I have no clue what I just read. Basically a teenage couple with mental health issues fall in love but he ends up truly hurting her. They are not allowed to see each other and decide to find ways to see each other anyways. Which ends up haunting them through a bridge.

I definitely enjoyed this one more than the first one.  There was never a dull moment in this book. Every page there was something new going on that made you question everything you just read.

“I have heard that for mortals, the feeling of falling in love is very like the feeling of fear. Your heart beats fast. Your senses are heightened. You grow light-headed, maybe even dizzy. Is that right?”

This one started of really slow. It got better as the book went on. Definitely a bunch of political background of the fairie world. It all ended up tying together to make the story make sense.

Let’s see what book 2 is all about!

This one was okay. I had a super hard time finishing it. I felt like a lot of the book was super repetitive on what was going on.
I’m going to pass on finishing the series.

This was a cute high school romance. Bailey and Charlie are both kids that meet on at an airport learning to adjust how to live with parents of divorces and traveling back and forth. Not knowing they would truly become friends way down the road. Only Charlie has the mindset that girls and boys can’t be just friends.

This was a cute little story about a teen trying to help raise money for a marching band. Trying to bring a famous person in for a concert.

I enjoyed it but I just felt like some of the story was way too far fetched and drawn out for what it was.

Everyone has this great concept of money. As a lawyer Michael went to law school thinking that was the best way to make money.

He ended up being part of a hold up in his firm by a homeless man who called himself “mister”.  After that he had a mind change and decided to leave everything and become a street lawyer and work for almost nothing. Everyone that knows him thinks he has gone absolutely crazy.

Grisham points out in this book that money is not the root of all happiness sometimes you can find happiness helping others!
