before i start, ill state that i received this book as an ARC.

i wholeheartedly adored this. it was a nice, quick read that was fast paced and kept me enticed the entire time i was reading. the porn itself was wonderful, but my abandonment issues had a hard on for the possessiveness/reassurance. that sentence was awful i’m so sorry LMAO but anyways, genuinely really enjoyed this. i’m a slut for vampires so i was already so ready for this, then for the shock of it to take place a few hours from where i live?? seriously was just such a nice lighthearted read that was also so healing at the same time

Was given an ARC to read for a review and wow. I pushed this to the top of my TBR on pure happenstance and I’m so beyond glad that I did. The imagery in this book is to die for and really immerses you. It felt like watching a movie at times. I’m not really a huge fantasy fan, but this book may have changed that. The characters are so well fleshed out and well written, it’s incredibly easy to see them in your head as you read. I can’t begin to express how much I enjoyed reading this book

i am embarrassed to admit this, but i’ve always strayed from reading books with transmasc mcs as they tend to trigger my dysphoria. but with this one i faced my fears and decided that it would be worth it, given the plot. and it was. not only do i now feel more comfortable reading books with a main character like me, but i feel better about myself in general. i can’t begin to express how incredible this was. truly more perfect than i could’ve ever hoped. thank you to the author for this absolute masterpiece. i’ll truly never forget this book

i absolutely adored this book. the only negative was the pacing, one page to the next being such a jump in the plot sometimes. but otherwise i truly adored this book more than i can say. so many thoughts on it, very very enjoyable to read

i’m honestly rendered speechless. this is everything i wanted in a book
despite given i’m a hopeless romantic at heart and the ending was heartbreaking yet deserved
. it’s a mixture of vicious by ve schwab and if we were villains and i adore it. nemerever did a masterful job
of getting the reader to go along w the unreliable narrator despite the thousands of red flags he provided
. a masterpiece of a book
