False Confidence by Sophie Snow is the second book in the Spicy in Seattle series. This book was filled with so much fun, love, and support. The found family in this story was very heartwarming. Liam was my favorite character in this book by far. I love that he has had a secret crush on her for years and jumped at the chance to help Jazz, who hasn't had an orgasm in a decade. Sophia Snow wrote Liam beautifully with his patience, understanding, and ability to help Jazz open up. Also, Maggie and Cal's relationship is still so cute and precious, and the support given to Jazz & Liam's relationship is so good! While this book was sweet and heartwarming, make no mistake that this book has all the spicy! These scenes were fun to read, and I love that Sophie Snow added an appendix at the end of the ebook with links to take you back if you wanted to read them.

My only issue with this book was Jazz's character. There wasn't enough character development or time to make her wrap up all of the loose ends and trauma, and it just wasn't super believable for her character. However, even with this, I still thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and the others that Sophie has written, so I recommend reading her books!

This was the first book by Samantha Skye, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was drawn to it by the tropes in this story! There is an age gap (but with actual adults), and it is set in a small town on an old family farm. I loved the growth of the characters individually and together. I also love when authors write a billionaire romance, where the billionaire has a heart and cares about the people and community just as much as making money, and Tanner embodies this.

The relationship that develops between Tanner and Victoria in this novel is everything! From the immediate tension that turns gooey and spicy, it was great! Sometimes, age gaps are weird when it comes to spice however, Samantha Skye wrote these characters wonderfully and the age gap added something to so love and spice of this two.

I will say the only reason I did not give this book five stars is that it felt a little like Insta Love to me, and while the suspense aspect was fun, it was predictable. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it for any spicy romance lovers of age gaps and small towns.
