Pucking Sweet by Emily Rath has been the long-anticipated release! I have loved Poppy's characters in all of the books; her bubblegum Barbie exterior with stern and no-nonsense personality is one of my favorite combos in people and fictional characters! I didn't think I could fall more in love with the series and these characters, but here we are.

Pucking Sweet takes us back to the beginning of Pucking Around (the first novel), and Poppy, Colton, and Lukas's story runs parallel to that book up until the end, where they break off a little more. I love Emily Raths's writing and storytelling ability; she has the skill to make me want to relive this time frame to get new perspectives! I have followed Emily since Alcott Hall, and I love her writing style! I love the dynamic created where Colton and Lukas fell for Poppy, and the shift where they fell for each other was so smooth and straightforward. I loved that there was no fanfare in them coming out or being with each other. They both were just like, yes, this is exactly what I wanted. And Emily Rath knows how to write spicy in a book!

I have read the other books in the series, but you can read this one as a standalone. You obviously will get a couple of spoilers about the characters and some of the things that happened in the previous books. I had a GREAT TIME reading this novel, and it may be my new favorite. I'm ready to listen to the audiobook now just for the experience. Hats off to Emily Rath for another impeccable book, and I would highly recommend reading this book.

Thank you to Emily for the ARC of Pucking Sweet!
