Modern retelling of Little Women. Well rounded yet complex characters that were all likable and simultaneously frustrating. The ending was wrought with tears and hope.

Loved that this is centered in Pinoy culture. Saso was our favorite character.

A big piece of the backstory was missing which left the ending to fall flat.

I’m left with more questions than answers. I liked each brother and really liked Max. It felt  but slow in places but I like how the story unfolded.

Both main characters were problematic and I’m not a fan of the ending. There was an odd time jump that felt rushed.

I was drawn to Miss Isabelle and Dorie’s stories that jumped from the past to the present. I thought I knew the twist but was pleased that I was able to be surprised. One of those stories that leaves one wondering so many “what if’s”. Miss Isabelle’s early chapters were hard to listen to because of her naivety and immaturity.

Interesting take on time and how one might move through it.
