If you are going into this book expecting a big cry session don’t or else you will be disappointed (like me🥲). That doesn’t mean the book isn’t good or sad because it’s both. It’s the kind of sad that you feel your heart ach and speed so fast but no tear will come down.
The author tackled many sensitive subjects like : racism/ islamophobia / alcoholism / drug addiction…. I liked how she wrote about them.
I wouls say sometimes the fights between our MCs seemed juvenile but they were young so we can excuse this.
Anyway i really liked this book and would recommend to people who like contemporary fiction books

Book 1 was okey but book 2 FUCKING DISGUSTING.
I really need women to stop writing about non consensual tropes !!! This men switched her birth control even though she said she’s not ready for a kid, forced her into an island with NO CLOTHES, tattoed his name on her body WITHOUT HER CONSENT !!!! How come a woman writes this stuff !!!

It was a nice end to the series. I didn’t find it WOW specially the events but romance wise it was very good and cute. I love the characters and how nuance they are.

Disability rep : MMC with severe chronic migraines. FMC with ADHD
Chloe Liese can do no wrong in my eyes with her books. Even though i really dislike the trope enemies to lovers and specially in contemporary romance, i really enjoyed this book.
What makes all Chloe’s books so special for me is the way she writes the characters falling in love and expressing them, they are always vulnerable and on the sweet side specially the men and i love reading about that. While reading about these characters you just want to stop the book and hug them fiercely 🥹
