A book filled with dark academia, whiskey and smoke, it will take you on a trip of moral questioning, spinning of reality and show you how it really feels to have blood on your hands. Despite being a detail heavy, slow moving read, you’ll find something strangely enticing about this book which will stay with you right to the very end.

This will get you even more invested in the series as you start to feel a deeper connection to the characters. Bare in mind it’s also gives you the same amount of whiplash as the first one with the level of intensity it throws at you. (Please check content warnings).

My favourite in the series due to the emphasis put into characters and their relationships. This series will break you and build you whilst also making you wildly obsessed with a sport that doesn’t actually exist. However, keep in mind that it’s fanfic level intense and therefore checking contente warnings is a must.

This book feels like you’re reading fan fiction but for that reason it will get you just as invested.
