This did not need to be 600 pages. The short chapters made it easier to continue.  

But I kept going because I had to know. I had to see what happened with Patch, Saint, Norma, and Sammy. Good mystery.

It was fine. 
Felt like twists were added just to be twisty. Didn’t engage enough to keep it all totally straight.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 0%.

Chucked very early on. Maybe because we are watching Adolescence on Netflix. Or maybe because I just don’t need another sociopath kid in my head

Graham writes stories that are surprisingly cozy. 
This wasn’t my favorite—an odd focus on PJ’s weight. One strange end. But otherwise I liked this town.

I thought the queerness would keep me interested. But nope. Texas. The Gulf. A shit hole town with backwards people. Feels a little too much like real life
