Stassi has been my icon in fashion since season one of VPR! She is an influencer that I actually feel influenced by. That being said, loved her book, but physically cringed reading it. If I hear “YOLO” or “totes” again, I might die. But it’s okay because it is Stassi, I wasn’t reading for the writing.

It was good, but would I read again?

While it is no match for the original book, I loved how the characters stay true to themselves throughout. I think the first time I read the original series this book was my favorite, but as a second time reader the first book wins.

I think if the author focused on ONE trope this book would have been a lot better for me. But the grumpy/sunshine, brother’s best friend, and a mafia-esque trope was a little much.

I loved this biography! Anna Wintour might be the most fascinating, yet problematic person of our time!

They discuss her affiliations to so many prominently problematic people, such as Harvey Weinstein. Although, I think she had no idea of the wrongs he was committing during their “friendship.”

As a met gala obsessor, this book spoke to me.

I enjoyed the plot 85% of the time, but the other 15% was too predictable and cheesy.

I am shocked I read this in the sixth grade and lived to tell the tale. I think reading this as an adult scared me way more than as a sixth grade omg!

I could genuinely read this book everyday! I have such a bear and dear spot in my heart for the Harry Potter series and world. This book and the 6 following are the reason I fell in love with reading!

I was happy to finally have a book with accurate knowledge of Boston. I think many authors do not do the due diligence and it shows, but Peter Swanson being from the North Shore already has a deep understanding of the neighborhoods and each personality within the Boston streets.

This was a really good who done it book where even at the end you’re question who had actually done it. This is the perfect mystery book for all my bookish friends because the plot surrounds a bookseller and his book blog.

I really enjoyed the journalistic approach to Theranos and learned way more from the audiobook than anticipated.
